As someone who lives in a (sort of) third world country with an already huge gap between the rich and the poor, I think that with the advancement of technology and its effect on education comes the widening of the gap between the wealthier people who go with such advancements, and the more ""financially inept" who will get left behind.
Computers, tablets, and the Internet would play a huge role in education for the sake of convenience, but those who both can't afford such technologies and are not academically capable enough for scholarships would have no choice but to stick to borrowing paperback books, notebooks and whatnot while trying to maintain their academic studies.
